The episode featured a particularly strong team, with Arthur, Bernadette, Paul and Stacey taking on Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan. The four contestants ultimately won a combined £23,000, answering 19 questions correctly in the Final Chase and successfully executing four pushbacks.

But despite the impressive performance from the team, it was one unusually named answer that completely stole Bradley’s attention.

During Bernadette’s turn, Bradley read a question asking:

“Which suitably-named actress plays Pip Archer in the countryside radio drama The Archers?”

Bernadette had three possible answers to choose from: Heather Fox, Rose Squirrels and Daisy Badger.

Bradley read through the first two options without a problem. But when he reached Daisy Badger, he suddenly started giggling.

After both Bernadette and the Chaser had submitted their answers, Bradley returned to reveal the result.

“Daisy Badger,” he repeated, laughing again. “I don’t know why that makes me laugh.”

He tried to continue, but broke down once more when he realized that Bernadette had chosen the same answer.

‘It Had to Be Daisy’

Bernadette admitted she had no idea whether her answer was correct.

“It had to be,” she explained. “I didn’t know what it was, I had to go for Daisy Badger.”

By this point, Bradley was laughing so hard that he ended up leaning over the table.

“Why did you have to put Daisy Badger?” he asked.

“I had to. If I was going to guess, it had to be Daisy,” Bernadette replied.

When the answer was revealed in green, confirming that Bernadette had been right, Bradley completely lost it again.

“No way,” Bernadette exclaimed.

Realizing he had been laughing at an actual person’s name, Bradley finally composed himself enough to admit: “Oh, it’s a terrific name.”

Bradley Breaks Down Again

The laughter returned later in the show when Bernadette was given her final opportunity to escape the Chaser and reach the Final Chase.

Before she could even discover whether she had answered the literary question correctly, Bradley suddenly erupted into laughter again.

“I’m sorry. I can’t stop,” he said.

Jenny Ryan immediately connected the moment to the earlier incident.

“First Daisy Badger, now this,” she joked.

Bradley then pointed to the question and laughed over the title “Three Men on the Bummel.”

“It’s just too much this show, innit?” he said.

What should have been a tense stage of the game had once again turned into a comedy moment, with Bradley’s uncontrollable laughter becoming one of the highlights of the episode.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
