Tipping Point viewers were left furious when contestant Brandy was eliminated after giving an answer that many fans believed was actually correct.
During Wednesday’s episode, Brandy, Wendy and Richard found themselves in a sudden-death round, competing for a place in the next stage of the game. Host Ben Shephard asked: “In which month of the year are men encouraged to grow facial hair for the charity event?”
Brandy quickly buzzed in with her answer: “Movember.”
But Ben ruled it incorrect.
After pausing, he completed the question by revealing the answer he was looking for: “Decembeard.”

‘It’s December, I’m afraid’
Brandy could only sigh as Ben explained the result.
“It’s December I’m afraid, Brandy,” he told her. “Hard luck I’m afraid, you go out because you buzzed in and gave me the wrong answer.”
Ben then thanked her for taking part, telling her it had been great fun and expressing his disappointment that she had not made it through.
Brandy graciously replied: “Thank you for having me.”
But while Brandy accepted the decision, viewers at home certainly did not.

Fans Insist Brandy Was ‘Robbed’
Almost immediately, viewers took to Twitter to question the decision. Many argued that Movember was far more widely recognized as a facial-hair charity campaign, while several admitted they had never even heard of “Decembeard.”
Some fans described the decision as unfair and insisted Brandy had been “robbed” of her chance to continue.
One viewer asked: “Decembeard? What the fk is Decembeard??”**
Another wrote: “Decembeard? WTF is that?”
A third viewer was even more emphatic: “DECEMBEARD IS NOT A FKING THING.”**

Others echoed the same frustration, with one simply posting: “Decembeard?! Never heard of it.”
Another viewer summed up the mood among angry fans by writing: “Decembeard??? Never heard of it, Brandy was robbed…”
The debate turned a seemingly straightforward sudden-death question into one of the episode’s biggest talking points, with viewers left wondering whether Brandy’s answer should really have been dismissed.
