Bradley Walsh Collapses in Hysterics Over ‘Best Question Ever’ on The Chase
Bradley Walsh has faced thousands of questions during his years hosting The Chase, but one seemingly innocent question about starfish left him struggling to breathe through laughter.
The hilarious moment unfolded as contestants Eve, Charles, Lara and Malcolm attempted to build a prize fund while facing Anne “The Governess” Hegerty.
Charles had already answered five questions correctly in his cash-builder round when he went head-to-head with Anne. Then Bradley reached a question that immediately destroyed his composure.
One answer was enough to break Bradley
Bradley asked Charles which of three options was not a genuine species of starfish.
The possible answers were “Goose foot starfish,” “Red-knobbed starfish” and “Chocolate starfish.”
But Bradley barely managed to get through the choices.
As he read them aloud, the presenter collapsed into laughter and struggled to finish the question, while Charles eventually selected “Chocolate starfish.”
Still laughing, Bradley wanted to know why he had chosen it.
“Funnily enough it’s the only starfish I’d heard of,” Charles replied.
That did little to help Bradley regain control.
The contestant’s answer turns out to be correct
Despite the laughter, Charles had made the right choice.
“Chocolate starfish” was revealed as the correct answer, moving him another step closer to making it back to the team.
Anne then joined in with her own joke, saying: “You can’t have chocolate under the sea because the sharks eat it all.”
The combination of the unusual question, Charles’ explanation and Bradley’s inability to stop laughing quickly became the standout moment of the episode.

Fans watching at home were equally entertained.
One viewer simply called it the “Best question ever,” while another said seeing Bradley get completely overcome by laughter on The Chase “will never not be funny.”
Someone else praised the programme’s question writers for producing the memorable moment.
Bradley’s tendency to lose his composure over certain questions has become a familiar part of the ITV quiz show, but this particular round left him so amused that he was temporarily unable to continue.
And after Charles somehow kept a straight face long enough to choose the correct answer, the contestant moved one step closer to home while Bradley was still recovering from the question.
