Prince Harry has been dealt a brutal blow regarding his relationship with Prince William. While the Duke of Sussex seems to be progressing well in his reconciliation with his father King Charles, his non-existent relationship with Prince William is yet to change.

Although the brothers used to be close, their relationship has hit problem after problem since Harry quit royal life in 2020. Over the last few years, especially since Harry published his 2023 memoir Spare, it is believed that the brothers have not been on talking terms at all. However, with the news that Harry and the King seem to be on better ground with one another these days, it has been debated widely whether the relationship between Harry and William could be improved.

Here at the Daily Express, we launched a poll asking our readers whether Prince William should reunite with Prince Harry.

The poll, which ran from 12.25pm on August 5 until 11pm on August 12, found that 4006 people think William should not reunite with his younger brother.

This will no doubt be a blow for Harry, who has always expressed an interest in rebuilding his relationship with his older brother William.

Meanwhile, the poll results showed that 332 people thought William should reunite with Harry. A total of 42 people said they don’t know.

The Prince of Wales, 44, has always kept quiet about his younger brother and has not addressed the current state of his relationship with Harry.

The Duke of Sussex, on the other hand, has publicly stated before that he loves his brother and wants to be on talking terms with him again.

He told the BBC last year: “I would love reconciliation with my family; there’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious.”

He also made public comments about William in 2023. In his 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper, Harry said: “You know, my brother and I love each other. I love him deeply. There has been a lot of pain between the two of us, especially the last six years.

“None of anything that I’ve written, anything that I’ve included, is ever intended to hurt my family.”
