NETFLIX JUST DROPPED ALL SEVEN SEASONS OF A GRIPPING MILITARY ACTION DRAMA — AND VIEWERS ARE CALLING IT ONE OF THE MOST INTENSE AND ADDICTIVE WAR SERIES TO BINGE.

Netflix has added a major military drama to its global catalog, giving viewers the chance to watch SEAL Team in its entirety. As of Aug. 18, 2026, all seven seasons of the action series are available on the platform across most regions, including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia and Latin America.

The arrival is part of a licensing agreement between Netflix and Paramount Global announced earlier this year. The deal also includes titles such as Taylor Sheridan’s Mayor of Kingstown and medical drama Watson. Lawmen: Bass Reeves previously arrived on Netflix in June as part of the same arrangement.

For viewers who never had access to Paramount+, the release is particularly significant. SEAL Team changed platforms midway through its run, meaning parts of the series were previously available exclusively through Paramount’s streaming service.

From CBS hit to seven-season streaming drama

SEAL Team' Finale: A Near-Recast & Military Drama's 7-Season Journey

Created by Benjamin Cavell and produced by CBS, SEAL Team premiered on Sept. 27, 2017.

The series initially aired on CBS, where its first four seasons and part of Season 5 were broadcast. Although it attracted strong overall audiences during its earlier years, its linear television ratings eventually declined.

In 2021, the show made a major transition. The remainder of Season 5 moved to Paramount+, with Seasons 6 and 7 subsequently released exclusively on the streaming platform.

The move allowed SEAL Team to continue beyond its network television run, although its journey eventually came to an end with Season 7 in 2024.

Now, Netflix is bringing the entire story together in one place for viewers in many parts of the world.

David Boreanaz leads Bravo Team

At the center of SEAL Team is David Boreanaz as Master Chief Special Warfare Operator Jason Hayes, leader of Bravo Team, an elite Navy SEAL unit tasked with carrying out dangerous missions around the world, often with little warning.

Boreanaz is joined by Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., A.J. Buckley, Toni Trucks and Jessica Paré.

While its military operations provide much of the action, the series does not focus solely on combat. SEAL Team also explores the psychological and personal consequences of repeatedly being sent into high-risk situations.

Bravo Team’s members face the pressure of missions where mistakes can have devastating consequences while simultaneously trying to maintain relationships and family lives at home.

That balance between large-scale military action and the human cost of the job became a defining element of the series throughout its seven-season run.

The series currently holds an 84% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes, reflecting a strong response from audiences.

Across its seven seasons, viewers follow Bravo Team through rapidly unfolding missions in dangerous locations while also seeing how the demands of their work affect their lives away from the battlefield.

The team repeatedly finds itself operating under extreme pressure, making trust between its members essential. That dependence extends beyond missions, as the characters also lean on one another while dealing with personal struggles and the consequences their careers have on those closest to them.

For viewers drawn to military action dramas that combine tactical operations with character-driven storytelling, SEAL Team offers a substantial seven-season story rather than a short limited series.

The story officially concluded with Season 7

Paramount+ announced in 2023 that the seventh season would be the show’s last, and SEAL Team officially concluded in 2024.

There had previously been plans to expand the franchise beyond television. A standalone SEAL Team movie returned to development in February 2022 with the intention of expanding the show’s storytelling universe.

Those plans ultimately did not move forward, with reports later confirming that the movie had quietly been shelved.

Although there are currently no additional seasons to continue the story, Netflix subscribers can now watch the complete run without switching between platforms.

All seven seasons of SEAL Team are now streaming on Netflix in most major international markets.
