Candice Swanepoel and Tom Brady may have found more than romance in common, with a plastic surgeon suggesting that both stars could have undergone cosmetic procedures to achieve their increasingly sculpted appearances.
The Victoria’s Secret model, 38, and the retired NFL quarterback, 49, were reported to have been dating for several months earlier this month. According to sources quoted by People, the pair have been keeping their relationship private while spending considerable time together in Miami, where they both live.
“They’ve been dating for a while now,” one source said. “They both live in Miami, so it’s very convenient. They’re spending a lot of time together.”
Another insider claimed that Swanepoel had been particularly discreet about the relationship, telling the publication: “Candice and Tom have been dating for months. She’s been very secretive and selective about who she’s told about their dating.”
The couple are also said to have bonded over parenthood. Swanepoel shares two sons, Anacan, 10, and Ariel, eight, with her former partner Hermann Nicoli. Brady has three children: Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, and Jack, 19, with former partner Bridget Moynahan.
Now, an expert’s analysis of photographs spanning their careers has raised questions about whether the pair may also share an interest in cosmetic enhancements.

Surgeon Suggests Possible Facial Procedures for Candice Swanepoel
Dr Melinda Lacerna Kimbrell, a double board-certified plastic surgeon and owner of LA Plastic Surgery, examined photographs of Swanepoel from earlier in her career and compared them with more recent images.
The specialist, who has performed more than 1,000 facelifts, said the model’s facial appearance seemed to reflect a combination of volume removal and enhancement.
“Candice’s face appears to have been deliberately contoured through a combination of removing volume in some areas and adding it in others,” Dr Kimbrell told the Daily Mail.
One feature that caught her attention was the pronounced hollowing beneath Swanepoel’s cheekbones. She suggested that this could be consistent with buccal fat removal, a procedure that reduces fat in the lower cheeks to create a more defined facial appearance.
“Normal aging usually causes a more gradual and diffuse loss and redistribution of facial volume,” she explained.
“To my eye, it appears more consistent with surgical excision of the buccal fat pads than with ordinary aging or weight loss.”
Dr Kimbrell also suggested that Swanepoel may have had fillers in her lateral cheeks, chin and lips. In her view, these possible enhancements could contribute to the model’s longer, leaner and more angular facial appearance.

Possible Brow Lift and Fox-Eye Procedure
The surgeon also pointed to changes around Swanepoel’s eyes and eyebrows.
She observed that the model’s outer brows and the corners of her eyes appeared more elevated and elongated in recent photographs than they did earlier in her career.
Dr Kimbrell suggested that the appearance could be consistent with a lateral brow lift combined with a fox-eye procedure, rather than Botox alone.

A lateral brow lift raises the outer portion of the eyebrows, while a fox-eye procedure changes the orientation of the outer eye area. When combined, the procedures can create a more lifted and elongated appearance.
The specialist also raised the possibility of rhinoplasty, saying Swanepoel’s nose appeared narrower along the bridge, with a more defined tip than in older photographs.
“Makeup can contour a nose in still images, but the degree of structural refinement suggests the possibility of a conservative rhinoplasty,” she said.
She added that the result did not appear to involve a completely different nose, but rather a possible refinement of the model’s original features.
Tom Brady Also Subject to Cosmetic Surgery Speculation
Brady’s appearance has also attracted attention, with Dr Kimbrell identifying several possible cosmetic procedures when comparing photographs from 2001 with images from 2026.
The surgeon suggested there could be signs of a brow lift, lower-face liposuction, masseter-muscle reduction and potentially buccal fat removal.
However, she cautioned that not all the changes necessarily point to cosmetic surgery. Weight loss and natural aging could also explain some of the reduction in facial volume.
Dr Kimbrell explained that reducing the masseter muscles can make the back of the jaw appear narrower, while lower-face liposuction can remove fat around the jawline and beneath the chin.
Combined with overall facial-volume loss, these changes could produce a slimmer and more sharply defined lower face.
The expert stressed that her assessment was based solely on photographs and that she had not treated either Swanepoel or Brady.
Similar Aesthetic, but Different Cosmetic Approaches
Despite identifying some possible similarities, Dr Kimbrell said the pair did not appear to have followed the same cosmetic approach.
“Candice’s face appears to have been deliberately contoured through a combination of removing volume in some areas and adding it in others,” she said.
“Tom’s face appears to have narrowed through a different combination of lower-face contouring, muscle reduction, weight loss and normal age-related volume loss.”
She identified two possible areas of overlap: some form of brow elevation and potential reduction of the buccal fat pads.
However, she emphasised that even where the possible procedures have similar names, their techniques and results could be quite different.
“I would describe this as a similar silhouette reached through two different cosmetic road maps — not matching makeovers,” she concluded.
The Daily Mail said it had contacted representatives for both Swanepoel and Brady for comment.
Neither star has publicly confirmed undergoing the procedures suggested by the surgeon. For now, the claims remain an expert’s interpretation of photographs rather than verified details of either celebrity’s cosmetic history.
