Ben Shephard left Tipping Point: Lucky Stars viewers in hysterics after making a cheeky joke about Gregg Wallace’s “dangler” during Sunday night’s celebrity episode.

The unexpected innuendo came when MasterChef star Gregg missed out on an array of counters during the tense game.

Watching the play unfold, Ben quipped: “That’s where Gregg left his dangler.”

The cheeky remark immediately caught the attention of viewers, with fans taking to Twitter to share their amusement.

One viewer wrote: “That’s where Gregg left his ‘dangler’ utter filth Ben Shephard #tippingpoint.”

Another joked: “That’s where Gregg left his dangler! I beg your pardon, Mr. Shephard? #tippingpoint.”

Gregg was competing on the ITV celebrity edition alongside comedian Chris Ramsey and model Vogue Williams.

Chris enjoyed an impressive run on the show, winning £3,000 and securing his place in the final round.

He ultimately went on to win an incredible £7,100 for his chosen charity, the Chloe & Liam Together Forever Trust.

Gregg Wallace’s Weight-Loss Journey

Away from the playful moment on Tipping Point, Gregg had previously opened up about his dramatic weight loss and his determination to become “fit and healthy.”

The TV chef said becoming a father had been a major motivation, explaining that he wanted to be around to watch his son Sid, who was 16 months old at the time, grow up.

Gregg also revealed that doctors had warned him his weight was putting his health at serious risk, with concerns that he was heading towards a heart attack if he did not make changes.

“Having my baby boy made me want to be fit and strong. I can now go for long walks, which I wouldn’t have been able to do before,” he told Closer magazine.

His wife Anne, who was two decades younger than him, was another source of motivation.

“Anne being younger than me was even more of an inspiration to be fit – you can have an old husband but she didn’t have to have a fat, old husband,” Gregg said.

Gregg said the fear of illness continued to motivate him to maintain his healthier lifestyle.

“There are days when I lack motivation – but I still workout. I just look in the mirror and think ‘I’m 55 and I’m stronger now than I was at 25’,” he said.

“I still struggle with some exercises, but I’m leaner now since lockdown.”

While the episode delivered plenty of competitive drama, it was Ben’s unexpected reference to Gregg’s “dangler” that provided one of the night’s most memorable—and cheeky—moments for viewers.
