What started as an ordinary question on The Chase quickly became one of the show’s funniest moments after an answer choice with an unexpected double meaning caught everyone off guard. Even Bradley Walsh did his best to keep a straight face until the very end.

BRADLEY Walsh and a contestant on The Chase were left trying to keep a straight face after a VERY cheeky question on tonight’s show.

Host Bradley asked 53-year-old Chris from Leeds: “What was the first Eric Hill book to feature Spot the Dog?”

The sales manager was then given three answers to choose from: “Hot Spot, Where’s Spot? or Gee, Spot!”

As the awkward third answer was read out, Chris and Chaser The Sinnerman cracked an embarrassed smile, and laughter could be heard in the studio.

Despite the racy answer being thrown into the mix, the innuendo didn’t put Chris off, and he correctly answered with “Where’s Spot?”

The cheeky joke didn’t escape viewers at home, who took to Twitter to share their hilarity at the filthy joke.

One wrote: “@ITVChase #thechase near the knuckle today on questions & answers, G Spot & White Fokker. Is this the late night edition?”

Another said: “’Gee, Spot’ and ‘brown fiddler’ I’m loving #TheChase.”

Many were more shocked at the fact that Bradley Walsh didn’t laugh uncontrollably at the joke and held it together during the head-to-head question.

One said: “Gee, Spot. I’m surprised Bradley didn’t have one of his giggling fits. #TheChase.”

Meanwhile another Twitter user commented: “#thechase Gee spot and Bradley controlled himself? Not like him.”

It’s not the first time Bradley has come across a dirty joke in the show.
