Bradley Walsh Loses It Over Cheeky Question on The Chase — While Contestant Roger Barely Reacts

Bradley Walsh was left struggling to keep a straight face during a memorable episode of The Chase after an innocent-looking question produced a combination of words the presenter simply could not get through without laughing.

Contestant Roger, from Surrey, was facing Mark Labbett when Bradley began reading a question about 19th-century composer William Crotch.

“Nineteenth century composer William Crotch was also famous as a player of what instrument?”

Then came the three possible answers: “Oboe”, “Bagpipes” and “Organ”.

Bradley Can Barely Finish the Question

Bradley immediately spotted the innuendo and began giggling as he attempted to read the options.

By the time he finally got through them, the 58-year-old presenter had collapsed over the quiz desk laughing.

“That’s priceless! That’s funny, isn’t it Rog?” Bradley said.

But Roger remained almost completely straight-faced.

“Well, it’s a little bit funny…” he replied, leaving Bradley looking far more entertained by the moment than the contestant himself.

Roger’s Answer Sets Bradley Off Again

Things became even harder for Bradley when Roger revealed he had selected “Organ.”

Unable to resist, Bradley joked: “Old Billy Crotch plays with his organ?”

This time, even Roger finally cracked a small smile.

“Well, they’re all a little bit funny but there we go,” he admitted.

And despite all the laughter, Roger had chosen correctly. “Organ” was indeed the right answer, while Chaser Mark Labbett also got it right.

Roger Keeps His Cool and Reaches the Final Chase

The awkwardly funny exchange did not derail Roger’s game.

He successfully escaped Mark and returned to his teammates with £2,000, securing his place in the Final Chase.

Viewers, meanwhile, were far more amused than Roger initially appeared to be, with several enjoying the familiar sight of Bradley completely losing his composure over an unexpectedly cheeky quiz question.

What began as a straightforward question about a 19th-century composer had turned into another classic Bradley Walsh moment — largely because of two perfectly innocent words that sounded anything but innocent when placed together.
