Bradley Walsh Left Struggling to Continue The Chase After Contestant’s Unexpected Answer

Bradley Walsh was left doubled over with laughter during a memorable episode of The Chase after contestant Sarah gave an answer so unexpected that the presenter struggled to compose himself and continue the show.
Sarah, a dental nurse and fan of rugby union and darts, initially made a strong start during her Cash Builder, eventually accumulating £5,000.
But one question produced a moment Bradley couldn’t forget.
Sarah’s answer catches Bradley completely off guard
During the rapid-fire round, Bradley asked Sarah a question involving the founder of the Vegetarian Society and another organisation he had founded.
With little time to think, Sarah quickly answered: “Sausage.”
Bradley was visibly stunned by the response but initially managed to move on and continue firing questions at her.
The moment wasn’t over, however.
Before Sarah faced Chaser Mark Labbett, Bradley returned to her earlier answer — and this time he completely lost his composure.
The presenter burst into laughter and dropped his head onto his arms as he tried to recover.
Sarah took the reaction in good humour, defending her attempt by joking that she still preferred giving an answer to simply passing on the question.
Sarah takes £5,000 to face The Beast
Despite the unusual Cash Builder moment, Sarah had managed to earn a respectable £5,000 and subsequently went head-to-head with Mark “The Beast” Labbett.
Her run ultimately ended when Mark caught her, sending Sarah home without any prize money.
Viewers, however, were still talking about her earlier answer, with the accidental combination of the Vegetarian Society and “sausage” quickly becoming the standout moment of her appearance.
Mike ultimately takes on The Beast alone

Sarah wasn’t the only contestant eliminated.
Housewife Tori was also caught by Mark, while vicar Mike successfully brought £8,000 back to the team. Student Aaron chose a low offer of £1,000 after Mike advised him to take the safer option, but the final round ultimately came down to Mike alone.
He set Mark a target of 18.
This time, The Beast couldn’t catch him.
Mike therefore walked away with the entire £8,000 prize pot — but for Bradley and many viewers, Sarah’s completely unexpected Cash Builder answer had already provided the episode’s most unforgettable moment.
