MAISIE Smith was left gobsmacked by Max George and his ‘proposal’ on The Chase’s celebrity special.

The former EastEnders actress, 21, appeared on the beloved ITV quiz show alongside her boyfriend Max, 34.

Host Bradley Walsh was completely unaware that Maisie and Max were a couple.

During the show the 62-year-old soon realised and asked: “So you’ve known each other before this then?”

As the pair looked at each other and giggled Bradley had a blank expression as he tried to make sense of it all.

The host then continued with his questions and soon realised the pair are currently dating.

“I didn’t know that I’m so sorry,” Bradley awkwardly said before asking: “Erm, so when’s the big day?”

“Funny you mention it,” said Max as he pretended to reach into his pocket to pull out a ring.

It left Maisie gobsmacked as her jaw dropped – and Bradley’s did too.

Unfortunately there’s no sign of wedding bells at the moment, although the couple id recently move in together.

Maisie’s mum previously shared an emotional video of her daughter packing up her stuff for the big move.
