“America’s Got Talent”’s Golden Buzzer Dog Sets Guinness World Record for Lightning-Fast Trick

Twinkie the Pomeranian is already winning over audiences on America’s Got Talent and now the tiny canine has added a Guinness World Record title to her impressive résumé.
The 2-year-old pup, who performs as part of the Acro Canine Crew dance troupe that recently earned a Golden Buzzer from host Terry Crews on America’s Got Talent, has officially set the record for the fastest time for a dog to perform 10 consecutive jumps through a human’s arms.
According to Guinness World Records, Twinkie completed the challenge in just 7.48 seconds alongside her owner, professional dog trainer and entertainer Jennifer Fraser of Canada.
“Twinkie knows a wide variety of tricks, all taught using positive reinforcement, lots of treats, praise and love,” Fraser, 46, told the outlet. “This particular trick was built gradually through small training steps until she was confident and fast enough to perform it at record speed.”
The speedy jumps are just one of many advanced tricks Twinkie has managed to excel in.
According to Fraser, the energetic Pomeranian can also perform catches, leg flips, foot jumps, back jumps, jumping catches and several other athletic routines.
“Twinkie is like a border collie trapped in a tiny body,” Fraser noted. “She has endless drive, incredible confidence and absolutely loves learning new things.”
While treats are certainly a favorite reward, Fraser said her dog is equally motivated by the opportunity to work. “She genuinely enjoys training and working with me,” she shared.
Twinkie’s latest achievement marks her first individual Guinness World Record title, but record-breaking is nothing new for Fraser.
The trainer has now broken 19 Guinness World Records with Twinkie and her other dogs, including a rescue dog and two Australian shepherds. One of those dogs, Daiquiri, previously held the record for the most coins deposited into a piggy bank by a dog in one minute and another record set by retrieving 18 items of clothing from a washing line and dropping them into a laundry basket in under one minute.
For Fraser, the accomplishments are about much more than earning certificates.
“One of my favorite things is showing people that small dogs are capable of truly extraordinary things when given the opportunity and proper training,” she said.
She described Twinkie as “a huge cuddler” who loves meeting new people and is always eager to show off her latest skills. “She will happily jump up for affection and is always eager to train and show off her skills,” Fraser said.
Looking ahead, Fraser hopes Twinkie’s first Guinness World Record title will not be her last.
“One of my goals is to inspire people to train positively and recognize that dogs of all sizes can achieve incredible things,” she explained. “Twinkie may be small, but she proves that determination, confidence and teamwork can accomplish impressive results.”
For anyone hoping to teach their own dog a few impressive tricks, Fraser has a couple of simple pieces of advice: “Take your time, break the trick down into small achievable steps and be patient” and “reward generously and make training fun so your dog stays engaged and excited to learn.”
