Prince Harry is lucky to have been given a second chance by King Charles, writes Jasmine Carey.

King Charles has handed his youngest son, Prince Harry, a chance many of us wouldn’t. The chance to start over.
Just days ago, it was reported that Harry – who visited the UK earlier this month – could be back in Britain this September. It was then rumoured that the monarch will be inviting Harry to stay at Buckingham Palace. Hopefully this time he accepts the invite before the offer is withdrawn.
While it is unclear whether Harry has accepted his father’s request, I think it’s important that he does
Because, while to some people it may just be the offer of somewhere to stay, I think the meaning behind such a gesture from the King is huge.
By opening Palace doors to Harry, the King is essentially discreetly welcoming Harry back into the royal world. Not necessarily as a working royal again, but certainly from a private, family perspective.
This is because the offer of a stay at Buckingham Palace is so much more than just somewhere for Harry to rest his head at the end of the day.
It is a chance for him to get back involved with his royal relatives, to have a part of his royal life back, and to also move on from the saga that the last Palace invitation brought with it.

It is also a sign of trust. By letting Harry stay at the Palace, the King is showing he trusts the duke to remain at a royal residence, see royal life again behind closed doors, and, this time, hopefully not leak any of it.
A few years ago, I generally believe an invitation such as this from the King to Harry just wouldn’t have happened.
So, Harry, if I were you, I would accept this invitation. Show your father you want to be involved in royal life again (even if only in a private capacity).
Prove that you can stay at a Palace and not share every snippet of information with audiences worldwide. Keep family moments private.
Because the King is giving you a chance to prove that things can go back to how they were before interviews, and Netflix docuseries, and damaging memoirs.
And not everyone gets a second chance. So don’t mess it up.
