A new poll suggests Meghan Markle is still unpopular with the public – have your say below. Meghan made her first significant visit to the UK in July alongside Prince Harry. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet joined their mother and father as they flew out to meet Prince Harry on his UK trip.

The family visited the King’s Highgrove Estate, the ancestral home of Princess Diana, at the Althorp Estate and the Scottish Highlands. Despite reuniting with King Charles and Queen Camilla at a country retreat on this trip, the public appears not to have changed its mind about the Duchess of Sussex.

The actress turned royal only has a 22% approval rating, with only Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s being lower.

This comes after the July family trip appeared to go without a hitch or controversy while the Sussexes were in the UK.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond previously told the Mirror: “Meghan is an intelligent woman. I’m sure she is perfectly aware of her extremely low popularity in the UK.

“I should imagine she now views it as a lost cause and, in any case, she seems to be far happier with her sunshine life in California.”

This comes after Meghan shared snaps of her family trip and even posted a picture of Harry and the children visiting the stately home where Princess Diana is buried.

In an Instagram post captioned “Summer Holiday”, the Duchess included a picture of Lilibet, Archie and Harry walking through the famous tree-lined garden at the Althorp Estate.

Prince Archie and Harry can be seen holding large bouquets of flowers as they walk ahead of Meghan and Princess Lilibet. Diana is buried on an island in the middle of the Oval Lake at her ancestral home.

Harry took Meghan to Princess Diana’s grave for the first time on the 25th anniversary of his mother’s death. Prince Harry flew to the UK in July for events to promote the Invictus Games in Birmingham.
