The band is set to embark on their farewell Long Goodbye world tour, covering the United States and beyond. As part of this final chapter, the legendary country rock icons have announced what will be their last-ever shows in the UK — giving British fans one final chance to experience them live on stage.

Although Don Henley hinted at their 2022 BST Hyde Park headline show that the Eagles might never return to Europe, the band has now silenced those doubts. In a surprising twist, they’ve unveiled plans for a three-night residency at Manchester’s Co-op Live, set for May and June 2024. Adding to the anticipation, it’s been confirmed that Steely Dan will join them as the special guest for all three concerts.

The Eagles’ farewell shows will unite Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey in a celebration of more than half a century of music history. From May 31 to June 4, 2024, the legendary band will take over Manchester’s Co-op Live for a special three-night residency, marking the final UK chapter of their extraordinary journey.

In a heartfelt statement, the group reflected on their legacy:
“For 52 miraculous years we have shared an odyssey, performing for audiences across the globe, keeping our music alive through tragic losses, upheavals, and countless setbacks. We owe immense gratitude to our longtime management team, our tireless road crew, and our gifted backup musicians whose steady support has carried us all these years. We know how fortunate we are—and we are truly grateful. Our run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed.”

“But everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle. Our official farewell tour is already underway, and we want to give every fan the chance to join us on this final journey. Tour dates will continue to be released as they are confirmed.”

“Because of the challenges of booking multi-night shows, we may return to certain cities if demand requires it. Our hope is to see as many of you as possible before we take our final bow.”

In addition to newly announced dates, the band has confirmed a stop at the GelreDome in Arnhem, Holland, with more cities possibly to follow if fans continue to call for encores.

Audiences can expect a nostalgic journey through timeless classics such as Hotel California, Take It Easy, One of These Nights, and Desperado. The set will also include a tribute to co-founder and original bassist Randy Meisner, who passed in 2023 and famously sang lead on Take It to the Limit.
