Meghan Markle released a new video to promote her lifestyle brand but several fans were left unimpressed. The Duchess of Sussex appeared in a new promotional video and showed the world her favourite summer dessert – an ice cream sundae made with her own jam and flower sprinkles. Meghan, who will turn 45 on Tuesday, appeared to be in her garden in Montecito, California, with her beagle Mia in company.
She demonstrated how to make the dessert, putting her new As Ever Raspberry spread first, before scooping some vanilla ice cream, crumbled shortbread and her viral flower sprinkles. But some fans were not impressed with the clip and took to social media to express their views.

One user wrote on X: “She’s so gross. Who’s she ‘celebrating’ with, the beagle?”
They added: “Very sad [and] desperate images from her.”
Another one noted: “So silly. How old is this? She made a sundae, but then had a cone with none of her product on it?”
A third one said: “She hosts… to her iPhone. While showing off her 10th new diamond ring.”
A fourth one commented: “She’s always by herself in every one of these videos, yet she’s always laughing at her imaginary friends somewhere out of frame.”
A fifth one added: “She is still trying to sell whimsy. People don’t find her whimsical, which is why Hollywood has closed the door on her and [Prince Harry].”
Others appeared to love Meghan’s new clip, with one fan saying on Instagram: “Oh, I love this, it’s so joyful and summery.”
Another one commented: “She looks amazing, peaceful and enjoying life.”
The video on social media was accompanied by the message: “Adding this to our summer menu.
“Meghan’s favourite ice cream sundae with Raspberry Spread, vanilla ice cream, crumbled shortbread, and Flower Sprinkles.”
