Meghan Markle reveals Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s adorable response to her show

Meghan Markle has revealed Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s adorable response to Cookie Queens, a documentary that she acted as executive producer on earlier this year. Cookie Queens, which Prince Harry also acted as executive producer, follows a group of Girl Scouts through their competitive annual cookie-selling season.
The screening took place in Los Angeles, and she and director Alysa Nahmias answered questions from the audience about what drew them to the project. Meghan was then asked if her children had seen the documentary, to which she said they had not – however, she did reveal one aspect of the filming that they were very excited about.
With a laugh, Meghan said: “They love all the cookies that we’ve had throughout this process.”
This comment comes after recently revealing her family’s healthy eating habits on MasterChef Australia, with her featured episode having aired last weekend.
Having filmed her episode during her visit Down Under in April, Meghan shared how much she loves cooking for her family – referring to Archie and Lilibet as “great eaters”.
As well as sharing that Archie and Lilibet are surprising fans of Brussels sprouts, she also said that they, like many children, love to ask for a dessert after dinner.
To which she said: “If they say, ‘Mama, can I have dessert?’ We say, ‘If you can pick it, you can have it’.”

Also speaking about what the show is really about, she added: “It’s more than just about the Girl Scouts and certainly more than just about Girl Scout cookies. It’s about girlhood, which Alyssa has said quite a bit as we’ve been working through promoting the show, but also it’s about families.”
“I think it’s just such a brilliant portrayal of a really important part of Americana. When I describe it to people, I say, ‘I know you think it’s just gonna be a cutesy film about cookies…’ And yes, while it is very cute and there are lots of great things about cookies, I mean, I don’t know about you guys, but every time we’ve seen it, there’s not a dry eye in the house…
“There are just so many really meaningful, grounding moments that I think will make it much more resonant than just something that’s cute. It is so much bigger than that, and that’s a testament to Alysa and the crew and really how hard they’ve worked on this.”
