Prince Harry has confirmed what he considers his occupation to be in a new podcast appearance. The Duke of Sussex, who was in the UK last week, sat down with Joe Marler to appear on his podcast “Joe Marler Will See You Now”.

The prince showed his classic humour on the podcast, which began with quickfire questions about the duke. This included questions about his full name, his star sign and even his occupation. Prince Harry answered all these questions, however one of his answers might not please the British public.

When asked what his occupation is, Harry briefly paused before answering: “Full time dad, British army veteran, Prince of England, Duke.”

The fact he said “Prince of England”, although technically true, will no doubt infuriate some fans of the Royal Family.

This is because Harry may be a prince by birth, but he has not been a working royal for some time, having quit the Royal Family in 2020.

While Harry still does charity work, he no longer carries out duties on behalf of the Crown.

He does, however, still have the title of prince and the Duke of Sussex.

Some people on X have shown outrage at Harry’s answer, with one person writing: “You quit the Prince job. You might still have the title, for now, but it’s not your occupation. Neither is Duke.”

Another person said: “Hanging on to those titles for dear life.”

Someone else wrote: “Job? The man child has never had a job.”
