Bonkers football match sees GOOSE invade pitch before Alisha Lehmann’s Love Island ‘reject’ fiance is sent off
A NON-LEAGUE showdown descended into chaos when a GOOSE invaded the pitch – before Alisha Lehmann’s fiance was brutally mocked after being sent off.
Burgess Hill Town notched a thumping 3-0 win over Whyteleafe in an Isthmian Premier League clash last night.

5But that was only after the early season contest, six tiers below the Premier League, had to be delayed when a goose was on the loose.
The huge bird managed to get onto the playing surface at the Medical Travel Compared Stadium in the final stages of the first half, sparking confusion.
Burgess Hill were already cruising to victory before the bonkers break in play.
EFL icon Chris Whelpdale – who featured for the likes of Peterborough, Gillingham and Stevenage earlier in his career – bagged an early goal-of-the-season contender.
The midfielder, 39, found the net with an outrageous chip from the halfway line.
And Kieran Rowe notched a brace either side of Whelpdale’s audacious strike, with the first coming inside 18 seconds.
Matters got worse for Whyteleafe when Montel McKenzie, who made a name for himself on Love Island, saw red as the encounter ticked into stoppage time.

The right-back, who announced he and WSL star Lehmann got engaged during the summer, was sent for an early bath after tearing into the referee.
And Burgess Hill poked fun at McKenzie, 28, when he was given his marching orders.
A social media post on the non-league minnows’ X account read: “Love Island reject Montel McKenzie is sent off for Whyteleafe for something he said to the referee.”
The Surrey-based side have made a woeful start to the season and are already at the foot of the table.

5Whyteleafe have now lost both of their games since the campaign got underway – conceding five in the process.
Baller League star McKenzie is set to miss the game against Wingate & Finchley on Saturday through suspension.
