“I am buzzing right now,” says one coffee drinker.

- We’ve got an unaired Survivor 51 scene showing what happens when you reintroduce coffee back into people’s lives.
- Even players who don’t drink coffee are drinking coffee! Sure, why not?!
- Guess who is completely “buzzing” from all that caffeine.
Try eating nothing for a few days and then chugging iced coffee on an empty stomach and see how that goes for you. You can now see how it went for two tribes on Survivor 51, courtesy of an exclusive deleted scene (below) that we’ve got for you from the latest episode. And suffice it to say, those tribes are positively WIRED!
The scene begins on day 9 at the camp for Toka — who won a jug of iced coffee for taking second place in the combo immunity and reward challenge — where the tribe returns to find a tray of crisp and clean caffeine awaiting them.
“I gotta tell you, Brodies,” says one tribe member, who we are not even going to bother naming because you already know who it is. “I usually rock coffee black, but I’m gonna be so happy to have a little sustenance in that coffee, so the creamier the better. I can’t wait to just sit around and drink coffee and BS with the Brodies. I feel like I’m at Starbucks in the jungle!”

And it doesn’t take long for the caffeine to do its work.
“Can you feel it already?” Kristin Flickinger asks the rest of the tribe.
“Yeah, it hits your system,” replies the previously unnamed yet totally obvious player. “I can feel it, like, in my blood.”
There’s one contestant in particular that wasn’t used to the immediate coffee impact.
“It was a good day overall for the Toka Tribe,” Mike Pinsky tells the camera in the scene. “We pulled out this great win and came back to ice coffee. It’s actually funny for me because I am not a coffee drinker at home. Everybody knows me as a tea guy, and yet the iced coffee was just a massive boost. It actually felt like everybody plugged us back in and we kind of like powered back up.”
The deleted scene also shows plenty of powering up going on over on the newly formed Dina tribe, who won an entire Survivor coffee kit. And apparently, the caffeine is simply not enough, so Linnea Capobianco just starts loading sugar into their already super sweet iced coffee because sure, why not?
And rest assured, it hits… and hits hard.
“When I had that first sip of iced coffee, I felt like a completely new person,” Eric Macksoud informs us in a confessional interview. “Not just because the caffeine is, like, going through my veins right now. Like you can tell like, I’m like, I am buzzing right now!”
He also kind of glitches for a second while saying that, to properly demonstrate how high he is flying, so you should probably just watch the whole thing for yourself below. And then we can all sit and hope for a second deleted scene showing the inevitable caffeine crash later.
