Nearly Two Decades Later, Survivor’s Most Controversial Final Three Debate Is Back — And Cirie Fields And Parvati Shallow Are Finally Weighing In On The Question Fans Have Argued About For Years! Survivor: Micronesia delivered one of the franchise’s most memorable endings, but its unexpected final-two format left an enormous what-if hanging over the season. For years, fans have debated how differently things might have played out if all three remaining contestants had faced the jury. Now, Cirie and Parvati are revisiting that alternate ending themselves, bringing fresh attention to a question that could change how viewers remember one of Survivor’s most celebrated seasons.

The dynamic duo also reveals details of their upcoming Soulmate tour.

Survivor: Micronesia is considered an all-time great of the reality franchise. In fact, it sits right at the top of my season franchise rankings. Not only does it feature the best moment in Survivor history, but it also featured the franchise’s most famous alliance in the Black Widow Brigade, which led to a great final two in Parvati Shallow vs. Amanda Kimmel, with Parvati scoring her first Survivor title in a 5-to-3 vote.

But this all-time-great season also features one of the greatest What Ifs in Survivor history. That’s because due to a large number of medevacs during the 39 days, what was supposed to be a final three shrunk down to a final two instead, meaning fans were deprived of a final including not just Parvati and Amanda, but franchise legend Cirie Fields as well.

Many have speculated as to what would have happened in that final vote had Cirie also been in the mix, with three bona fide icons competing head-to-head-to-head. So with Parvati and Cirie now embarking on a Soulmate tour in which folks can hobnob with the dynamic duo and special guests in person for a night of fun and reality TV tea spillage, we decided to give fans a little taste of what’s in store by posing the big question to the two hosts themselves: Who would have won in a Survivor: Micronesia final three?

“Oh, Lord, why you doing that, Dalton?” Cirie reacts. “Imma let Parv answer.”

Typical brilliant strategic move by Cirie there, choosing not to dethrone the recognized season winner and allowing the champ to answer herself.

“People were pretty mad at me that season,” Parvati says, laughing.

But she also points out that part of her win may not just be attributed to the fact that she was not sitting next to Cirie, but that she had Cirie working the jury for her.

“I think the reason that I won that season was because Cirie was on the jury going to bat for me,” she says. “So had Cirie been sitting with me, I probably would’ve gotten a lot less votes, if you know what I’m saying.”

As for the voting, “I think Amanda would’ve gotten Ozzy. Like, the boys were really mad at me. So Ozzy, Jason, Erik. Erik would’ve voted for Amanda, and probably the rest of the people would’ve voted for Cirie.”

Wait, is Parvati saying she would have been shut out?

“Maybe I’d have gotten Natalie and Alexis. But maybe you would’ve gotten Jason and Eliza.”

And then, another thought from the winner: “Maybe Amanda would’ve won if it was final three!”

These are the type of deep-dive questions that will be asked and discussed on the Soulmate tour, which kicked off Oct. 13 in Los Angeles and will now make its way next month to New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Toronto (full dates and venues below).

“Say you wanna go hang out with your best friends and play some games, ask some questions, get some intel and insight on all the games that we play, be interactive with your favorite Survivor person — that’s what you’re gonna experience if you come out to these shows,” explains Cirie. “You’re gonna be up close and personal with me and Parv, you’ll get to apply for the Black Widow Brigade, it’s just gonna be an all-around good time. We’re gonna make it a night to remember.”

“Cirie and I are gonna give them some behind-the-scenes stories that they’ve never heard before,” adds Parvati. “It’s a chance to experience our energy together that is pretty magical.”

The two-time champ also explains how this night out is different from other Survivor events.

“It’s not a watch party,” she says. “It’s something totally different. And the only podcasts and things that I’ve seen with Survivor and The Traitors are hosted by men, so this is the only experience that you can get from reality TV competition queens that are hosted by very powerful women. This event is for the girls, the gays, and the allies.”

Fans will be able to ask the pair about any of their experiences on Survivor, The Traitors, Big Brother, Deal or No Deal Island, and whatever else they can think of… like, say, perhaps another big Survivor What If involving the duo. Had Cirie made it to the merge on Heroes vs. Villains, would that have altered Parvati’s strategy of sticking with the Villains to the end?

We asked the eventual runner-up that exact question, and it turns out the answer is… yes!

“The only reason I stuck with the Villains side was because I tried to connect with Amanda and I was getting bad vibes from her,” Parvati explains. “And I was like, ‘Oh, she doesn’t wanna work with me.’ But if Cirie had been on that season, I do believe Cirie and I would’ve linked up and joined forces. Of course! We’re so good at that. It’s like, she works one end of the beach, I work the other end. We come together, we know we’re good. We have the whole beach under our spell because we both have very different skill sets.”

The whole line of thought leads Parvati into wistful — and wishful — thinking of what could have been.

“God, if I would have had Cirie with me, we would’ve both been at the end together for the final three,” she says. “We would’ve chopped Russell and Sandra quick. We probably would’ve both been at the end for the final three. Finally! That’s what I’ve been trying to do!”

If never together in a final three, at least you can see Parvati and Cirie together on stage on the Soulmate tour, with tickets now on presale for all stops. Full dates and venue below.
