The ITV quiz show host left viewers stunned after asking Kelly a question about Kourtney Kardashian’s social media account during the Final Chase—but fans soon spotted an unexpected twist.
Bradley Walsh left The Chase viewers scratching their heads after asking a question that appeared to give a contestant the answer almost immediately.
During the September 27 episode of the popular ITV quiz show, Kelly, from Norwich, was asked to identify the celebrity behind a supposed Twitter (now X) handle. The question seemed so straightforward that viewers questioned how it had made it onto the programme in the first place.
The episode featured four contestants—Kane from Uxbridge, Harry from Bangor, Kelly from Norwich and Chloe from Corby—battling to win a share of the prize money.
However, it was Walsh’s exchange with Kelly during the Final Chase that became the talking point among viewers.
Bradley Walsh’s Kourtney Kardashian question leaves viewers stunned

One fan called it the ‘dumbest question ever on that show’ (ITV)
During the tense final round, Walsh asked Kelly: “Whose Twitter (X) handle is @kourtneykardashian?”
Kelly looked up before giving the seemingly obvious response: “Kourtney Kardashian.”
Given that the handle contained the celebrity’s full name, viewers were quick to point out how easy the question appeared to be.
There was another catch, too. Kourtney Kardashian’s actual X username is @kourtneykardash, rather than the longer handle Walsh read out.
That detail only added to the confusion, with fans joking that the question was questionable even before Kelly answered it.
Fans call it one of the show’s easiest questions

Viewers quickly took to social media to share their reactions, with some suggesting the question was among the most ridiculous they had encountered during the programme’s 15-year run.
One viewer wrote: “The Chase just had a question asking who’s social media handle is Kourtney Kardashian like I genuinely think that is the most dumbest question ever on that show.”
Another joked: “That Kourtney Kardashian question was a tough one. #TheChase.”
A third viewer added: “In the 15 years #TheChase has been running, ‘Whose Twitter handle is @KourtneyKardashian?’ must be the most difficult question ever asked on the show.”
The comments reflected viewers’ disbelief at the simplicity of the question, particularly given the pressure contestants face during the final round.
How does The Chase work?
For those unfamiliar with the format, The Chase sees four contestants compete against a professional quizzer known as the Chaser.
Each contestant begins by answering as many questions as possible within 60 seconds to build up an individual prize fund. They then face the Chaser and must correctly answer questions to stay ahead and secure their place in the team.
Contestants who are caught lose their accumulated money, while those who survive progress to the Final Chase.
In the final round, the remaining players work together to build a lead by answering questions against the clock. The Chaser then attempts to catch them within two minutes.
Any team that successfully holds off the Chaser wins the accumulated prize money, which is shared among the surviving contestants.
Kelly and Harry fall short of the £5,000 prize
Despite the amusing moment involving Kardashian’s social media handle, the episode did not end in victory for the contestants.
Kelly and Harry reached the Final Chase with £5,000 at stake and managed to score 17 steps.
However, their opponent, Mark Labbett—better known to viewers as The Beast—proved too difficult to beat.
The Chaser caught up with the pair with just 23 seconds remaining, ending their hopes of taking home the money.
Although the team ultimately left empty-handed, Walsh’s seemingly giveaway question provided viewers with an unexpected talking point—and another moment for The Chase fans to debate online.
