THE CHASE continued tonight and it was a funny affair when Bradley Walsh struggled to get a rather cheeky question out – but the contestant was not impressed.
The Chase welcomed a new batch of players on to the ITV quiz this evening and it seemed there was a very cheeky moment indeed.
Bradley Walsh was quizzing Roger, from Surrey, when he stumbled across a funny question.
The host asked: âNineteenth century composer William Crotch was also famous as a player of what instrument?â
But he struggled to get the answer options out as he released it was slightly rude.
Bradley, 58, giggled through the options âOboeâ, âBagpipesâ and âOrganâ, barely managing to get his words out.
Once he did, the presenter collapsed on the quizzing table as he erupted in laughter.
Beloved Bradley could barely compose himself as he turned to Roger and said: âThatâs priceless! Thatâs funny, isnât it Rog?â
However, Roger didnât seem to share Bradleyâs sense of humour and remained straight-faced.
The contestant replied: âWell, itâs a little bit funnyâŠâ
It was then revealed Roger had chosen âOrganâ as his answer, which only set Bradley off again.

The host cheekily chuckled: âOld Billy Crotch plays with his organ?â
And that final remark seemed to crack Roger, who let out a little giggle before announcing: âWell, theyâre all a little bit funny but there we go.â
Bradley then announced âOrganâ was in fact the correct answer, much to Rogerâs delight.
Furthermore, tonightâs Chaser Mark Labbett also got the question right.
Thankfully, the funny moment didnât stir Roger too much as successfully got through to the Final Chase with his ÂŁ2,000.

One said: âLove it when Bradley loses it!â
Another added: âOoo brutal shut Bradders down Roger.â
A third commented: âWilliam Crotch plays the organ. Don’t worry, I found it funny Bradley.â
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.Â
