Bradley Walsh struggled to hide his frustration during an episode of The Chase after contestant Tammy failed to answer a single question correctly in the show’s fast-paced opening round.
The ITV presenter was left urging her to get involved as Tammy repeatedly passed on questions, while her teammates watched their chances of building a strong team total begin to slip away.
The episode featured four contestants — Lynn, Tammy, Johnny and Arthur — taking on quiz expert Shaun Wallace, known as the Dark Destroyer.
Lynn got the team off to an impressive start by securing £8,000 in her cash-builder round. Tammy, however, had a very different experience, and her performance soon became a source of tension in the studio.

Tammy surprises Bradley with her attitude
Before her round even began, Tammy caught Bradley off guard when she explained that she was simply enjoying the experience and would be perfectly happy to leave without winning any money.
When the host asked what she would do if she won, she replied: “Well, I’ve just enjoyed the whole experience so if I come away without anything, that’s fine.”
Bradley appeared taken aback by her response.
“The whole experience of today?” he asked, prompting Tammy to confirm that she had been having a great time.
“Really?” Bradley responded. “We haven’t even started yet. The day is young.”
But the host’s optimism soon gave way to frustration as Tammy struggled to make progress during the quick-fire round.

Bradley urges Tammy to get an answer right
As the clock ticked down, Tammy repeatedly passed on questions rather than attempting an answer.
When the round ended, Bradley made no secret of his disappointment.
“Right, no time left,” he said. “You’ve just gone, pass, pass, pass. There’s about four there you knew.”
Tammy’s difficulties continued when she faced Shaun Wallace, who offered her a choice between a negative £1,000 and a much more ambitious £50,000.
After consulting her teammates, she opted for the lower offer of minus £1,000.
However, choosing the safer option did little to improve her fortunes.
One question concerned the Olympic Games and their timing in relation to the Second World War. Tammy selected four years as her answer, prompting Bradley to draw a sharp breath when the response was revealed to be incorrect.
As the round continued, the presenter became increasingly eager for her to get something right.
“We’ve got to start getting some right, Tammy, come on,” he told her.
He then pleaded: “Oh, come on Tammy, please get it.”
Despite Bradley’s encouragement, Tammy was unable to turn things around, and Shaun comfortably defeated her.
Johnny and Arthur face their own challenges
Tammy was not the only contestant to struggle against the Dark Destroyer.
Johnny also failed to beat Shaun during his turn, leaving the team’s hopes resting on the remaining players.
Arthur, meanwhile, chose the minus £1,000 offer but managed to make it through his head-to-head round, keeping the team in contention for the final chase.
He subsequently joined Lynn for the closing stage of the programme, where the pair attempted to answer as many questions as possible before their time ran out.
Lynn and Arthur reach the Final Chase
After a difficult set of individual rounds, Lynn and Arthur managed to put together a respectable performance in the final chase.
The pair answered 12 questions correctly within the time available, giving them a final score to defend against Shaun Wallace.
Their combined effort provided a more positive finish to an episode that had seen several contestants struggle to gain an advantage over the experienced quizzer.
For Bradley, however, Tammy’s opening round proved particularly frustrating, as he repeatedly encouraged her to stop passing and attempt the questions in front of her.
