Bradley Walsh Left in Hysterics on The Chase After Contestant’s Hilarious ‘Water’ Answer

Bradley Walsh was left laughing so uncontrollably on The Chase that he struggled to finish asking his next question after a contestant delivered an unexpected answer during Wednesday’s episode.

The hilarious moment happened as Paul from Exeter took on the final Cash Builder of the ITV quiz show.

With the clock ticking and Walsh firing questions at him, Paul was doing his best to keep up. But one particularly tricky question caught him off guard — and his answer sent the presenter into fits of laughter.

‘Water’ sends Bradley into fits of laughter

Walsh asked Paul: “Modena lost a trademark to trade what liquid?”

Clearly under pressure, Paul immediately blurted out: “Water.”

The answer was so unexpected that Walsh instantly burst out laughing.

Paul quickly realized what he had said and began smiling too, while Walsh covered his face with his hand, struggling to regain his composure as the final seconds of the Cash Builder continued to tick away.

The presenter became so amused that he doubled over with laughter and was unable to get his next question out properly.

When the buzzer finally sounded, Walsh was still repeating “water” between fits of giggles before revealing the correct answer: balsamic vinegar.

Paul then attempted to save face with a cheeky explanation.

“I said that on purpose,” he joked.

Paul manages to reach the Final Chase

Once Walsh had finally recovered, Paul moved on to the main game and faced Paul “The Sinnerman” Sinha.

Having earned £3,000 during his Cash Builder, Paul chose to play for that amount.

He successfully made it back to the team’s seat and joined fellow contestants Amanda and Lily for the Final Chase.

Together, the team answered 18 questions correctly, giving them a respectable 21-step lead over Sinha.

However, the Chaser was not about to let them escape so easily.

Despite the team’s strong performance, Sinha managed to chase them down and catch them before they could secure the money.

The contestants were ultimately sent home empty-handed.

Another classic Bradley Walsh moment

Walsh is well known among The Chase viewers for occasionally breaking into uncontrollable fits of laughter when contestants give unexpected answers.

This time, Paul’s instant response of “water” proved too much for the presenter, leaving him unable to continue with the questions for several seconds.

Although Paul’s answer cost him a point in the Cash Builder, he at least managed to turn the embarrassing moment into a joke — and his “I said that on purpose” remark gave Walsh another reason to laugh.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
