Bradley Walsh was left fighting back laughter after a contestant turned an innocent question on The Chase into an unexpectedly cheeky joke.
The long-running ITV quiz show took a rather naughty turn when 29-year-old London writer and performer Reece found himself facing Chaser Paul Sinha, known as The Sinnerman.
The question appeared harmless enough: “In ceramics, what is a finial?”
Reece was given three possible answers — an ornate spout, a relief panel or a decorative knob.
He selected “a decorative knob” and then delivered the line that had the studio audience in stitches.
“I knew a lot about decorative knobs,” Reece joked.
But he wasn’t finished.
“I have no idea, but if I am going to go home, I’d like it to be on a decorative knob.”
The comment prompted laughter from the audience, while Paul Sinha struggled to hide his amusement.
Bradley, meanwhile, appeared to be fighting even harder to keep himself composed.

Bradley Walsh delivers a warning
Rather than allowing the joke to derail the quiz completely, Bradley pulled Reece aside for a brief word.
Trying to keep a straight face, the presenter lowered his voice and told him:
“Don’t come on here ruining my show.”
Reece immediately bent over laughing at the mock warning before returning to the game.
Fortunately, his cheeky answer was also the correct one, meaning he survived the question and moved one step closer to rejoining his teammates.
The moment quickly became one of the episode’s lighter highlights, with even Bradley eventually struggling to contain his amusement.

Nesta leaves Bradley equally baffled
There was another amusing exchange during the same episode when contestant Nesta revealed that she had no idea what a “chicken shop” was.
She was asked where broadcaster Amelia Dimoldenberg first became famous on YouTube with her celebrity dating series.
The possible answers were chicken shops, libraries or theme parks.

Nesta chose libraries.
Then came the question that left Bradley visibly stunned.
“What’s a chicken shop anyway?” she asked.
She went on to wonder whether it was somewhere people actually went to buy chickens.
Bradley simply raised his eyebrows and turned towards the cameras as Paul Sinha joked:
“We live very different lives…”

Nesta explained that she lived “in the county”, apparently accounting for her unfamiliarity with the term.
The unexpected exchange added another dose of comedy to an episode already packed with memorable moments.
