Ben Shephard left one Tipping Point contestant visibly flustered after turning an innocent prize into a cheeky on-air joke.
During Wednesday’s episode of the ITV quiz show, Rebekah, June, Anthony and Alasdair competed for the chance to reach the final and take home the show’s cash jackpot.
June made it through to the final two and was thrilled when she successfully pushed the mystery counter over the tipping point, securing herself a special prize.
Her reward? A massage bed.
But it was Ben’s reaction to the prize that quickly became the most memorable part of the moment.
“That’ll get you to your Tipping Point”
The presenter wasted little time teasing June about her new massage bed, telling her: “That’ll get you to your Tipping Point.”
The comment immediately left June open-mouthed and blushing.
But Ben was not finished.
When June joked, “The hubby is in for a shock,” the presenter continued the playful exchange by suggesting that she might be thinking about him while relaxing in her new bed.
“You can think of me every time you are in bed now,” Ben quipped.
June appeared visibly flustered by the unexpected innuendo, while the exchange also caught the attention of viewers watching at home.
One viewer reacted: “Jesus Ben enough about the massage bed!”
Another joined in with the joke, writing: “Who wouldn’t want to think of Ben in bed!”
June misses out on the final
Despite making it to the final two, June was unable to progress to the final round.
Alasdair eventually defeated her and moved forward, leaving June with the massage bed—and plenty of cheeky banter from Ben to remember from the episode.
Alasdair managed to reach the final but did not win the big cash prize. Instead, he chose to walk away with his accumulated winnings, taking home £1,700.
For June, however, the massage bed prize came with an unexpected bonus: an on-air exchange with Ben Shephard that quickly became one of the episode’s talking points.
