Watch shock moment controversial country star FLIPS his piano over mid-gig after being left furious by technical issue
COUNTRY singer Morgan Wallen lost his cool on stage and flipped over a piano while performing mid-gig in Colorado.
The hitmaker, 33, became frustrated with technical issues on Friday’s show.
The Tennessee native was on the final stretch of his tour at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver.
While performing his hit 2021 song Sand In My Boots for the encore, the singer struggled to hear the music and then proceeded to tip the piano over.
He decided to finish the song a cappella, which went down well with fans who seemed to enjoy the performance.
The audience also appeared to cheer Morgan on when he pushed over his piano.
He then wrapped up the show with his best known tracks Last Night and Whiskey Glasses.
Morgan previously found himself in hot water after throwing a chair from the rooftop of a Nashville bar, which resulted in misdemeanor charges.
Despite this, Morgan’s fans praised the star for carrying on the show.
One wrote: “Flip it again. HE DONT NEED NO PIANO. He CAN sing!”
A second posted: “Morgan don’t need a piano he can sing, proud of him.”
But not everyone agreed and some have hit out at the controversial star.
“He’s always throwing a temper tantrum over something,” one said.
Another commented: “Is this that guy who threw a chair off of the roof or whatever?” while another joked, “Throw it off a bar roof next.’
While on tour, Morgan usually brings out a local hero to join him on stage.
On Friday, Broncos quarterback legend John Elway appeared alongside him for his signature moment.
Morgan’s tour will see him head to Pittsburgh for two dates.
The singer has also hit headlines in 2020, when he was pulled from Saturday Night Live after breaking Covid-19 rules.
He was set to perform as a guest but a TikTok video circulated of him partying with fans without a mask during the height of the pandemic.
