BRADLEY WALSH LEFT STUNNED AS THE CHASE CONTESTANT IGNORES HIS WARNING AND PULLS OFF A REMARKABLE £10,000 COMEBACK

Bradley Walsh was forced to eat his words on The Chase after a contestant ignored his advice, took an enormous gamble and achieved something the ITV presenter said he had never witnessed before.
During an episode broadcast in December 2025, contestant Tim joined Dale, Caroline and Jacqui to face Shaun Wallace, better known as The Dark Destroyer.
However, Tim’s appearance got off to a disastrous start when nerves overwhelmed him during the Cash Builder round.
He failed to answer a single question correctly, leaving him with £0.
BRADLEY WARNS CONTESTANT AGAINST RISKY DECISION

Despite his disappointing start, Tim was offered the opportunity to compete for £10,000.
Bradley urged him to reconsider, explaining that getting more contestants into the Final Chase was often more important than chasing a larger prize.
Shaun Wallace agreed, suggesting Tim should take the safer £0 option.
But Tim refused to back down.
Determined to redeem himself, he ignored both men’s advice and chose to compete for the higher amount.
A COMEBACK THAT LEAVES BRADLEY SPEECHLESS

Against expectations, Tim successfully answered enough questions to escape the Chaser and return to his teammates.
His remarkable recovery transformed his £0 Cash Builder result into a £10,000 contribution to the team’s prize fund.
Bradley was astonished.
The presenter, who has hosted The Chase since its launch in 2009, admitted he could not recall another contestant going from scoring nothing in the opening round to bringing back £10,000.
He congratulated Tim on his extraordinary comeback, praising his determination after such a difficult beginning.
BUT THE FINAL CHASE BRINGS ANOTHER TWIST
Unfortunately, Tim’s success did not guarantee a happy ending.
Jacqui and Caroline were eliminated, while Dale managed to contribute another £1,000.
Tim and Dale entered the Final Chase with a combined £11,000 at stake.
However, their score of nine was not enough to defeat Shaun Wallace, and both contestants ultimately left without any winnings.
Although Tim failed to take home the money, his extraordinary comeback gave Bradley Walsh a memorable lesson about trusting a contestant’s instincts.
