BRADLEY WALSH THOUGHT ONE ANSWER ON THE CHASE SOUNDED SO RIDICULOUS HE ENDED UP WITH HIS HEAD ON THE DESK, UNABLE TO STOP LAUGHING — THEN THE SCREEN TURNED GREEN AND HE REALISED THE CONTESTANT HAD ACTUALLY GOT IT RIGHT.

Bradley Walsh completely lost control on The Chase after one contestant selected an answer he found so funny that he ended up with his head down on the desk — only to discover she was actually right.

The hilarious moment came during Bernadette’s head-to-head against Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan.

Bradley asked which suitably named actress played Pip Archer in the countryside radio drama The Archers.

Bernadette was given three options: Heather Fox, Rose Squirrels or Daisy Badger.

One Name Completely Breaks Bradley

The Chase: Bradley left in hysterics over contestant's answer

Bradley managed to read the first two choices without a problem.

Then he reached Daisy Badger.

For reasons even Bradley struggled to explain, the name immediately set him off. He began giggling while trying to continue with the game, repeating “Daisy Badger” and admitting he did not know why he found it so amusing.

Things became even worse when Bernadette revealed that Daisy Badger was the answer she had actually chosen.

Bradley could barely continue.

He eventually ended up leaning over the desk in hysterics while Bernadette explained that she did not know the answer but felt that, if she had to guess, it simply had to be Daisy.

Bradley appeared convinced such an unusual name must have been invented for the question.

Then the correct answer appeared.

Bradley’s Reaction Gets Even Better

Daisy Badger was correct.

Bernadette herself reacted in disbelief, while Bradley completely dissolved into laughter again.

Realising he had spent the entire question laughing at the name of a real actress, Bradley conceded that it was actually a “terrific name.”

But even that was not the end of it.

Later, as Bernadette approached the crucial end of her round, Bradley was still struggling to forget the earlier moment. His laughter returned at precisely the point when the tension should have been at its highest, forcing the presenter to apologise as he attempted to regain his composure.

Despite Bradley’s distraction, Bernadette and her teammates Arthur, Paul and Stacey went on to produce an impressive performance against Jenny Ryan.

All four reached the Final Chase, set a target of 19 and successfully executed four pushbacks to defeat The Vixen and take home a combined £23,000.

Yet one of the episode’s most memorable moments had nothing to do with the money — it was simply Bradley Walsh discovering that the answer he found too ridiculous to take seriously was the correct one.
