Meghan Markle was “talking about” her UK trip at a dinner party in California, according to a cooking legend. Martha Stewart said she was at an event in California last week and saw The Duchess of Sussex there.

While they only spoke briefly, the 85-year-old cooking legend said she heard Meghan talking about her UK trip after having “just gotten back from the palace”. It is believed Meghan and Prince Harry, along with their children, did not visit a palace on their July visit to Britain, but instead visited Highgrove House. This is King Charles’ private residence, where he reportedly hosted the family-of-four for a visit, which did not extend to overnight.

Queen Camilla was also present at the reunion meeting, with reports that she wanted to be with the King.

Speaking to People magazine, Stewart said: “I had dinner with Meghan Markle the other night.

“We were both guests at a dinner party in California. And she had just gotten back from the palace.

“I didn’t talk to her really more than to say a couple words, but I know she was talking about it.”

It is not known what Meghan said, or if she went into any details about the Highgrove meeting. It marked the first time the duchess had stepped foot in Britain since 2022.

It also marked Meghan’s first time seeing King Charles in four years. It was also the first time Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, had seen the monarch in that time.

It is believed the family’s meeting with the King lasted just over an hour.

Meghan has refrained so far from publicly talking about the Highgrove reunion. While she took to Instagram to share photographs of the family’s summer holiday to Portugal and the UK, no photographs or mention of Highgrove was made.
