The Chase contestants regularly tell Bradley Walsh they would spend their winnings on dream holidays, new cars or once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

But when contestant Chris revealed what he wanted to buy with his potential prize money, his answer was anything but ordinary.

The skydiving instructor told Bradley that he had already completed an astonishing 5,500 jumps — before revealing that any money he won would go toward upgrading one particularly important piece of equipment.

The admission quickly caught viewers’ attention.

Bradley Discovers Chris Has an Unusual Day Job

Chris, from the Isle of North Uist, appeared alongside Tim from Penicuik, Emma from Buckinghamshire and Georgia from London.

As Bradley got to know the contestants, he asked Chris about his occupation.

Chris revealed that he worked as both a mortgage broker and a skydiving instructor, immediately prompting interest from the host and his teammates.

But his experience in the air was even more striking.

Chris said he had completed approximately 5,500 jumps and now taught other people how to skydive.

It was impressive enough to get Bradley’s attention, but the conversation became even more unusual when the host asked what Chris hoped to do with any money he might win.

His Answer Was Definitely Not a Holiday
