The former BBC presenter has stunned fans by posting a cryptic, shirtless video alongside a message suggesting he’s done letting others control the narrative. As speculation explodes over who the message was really aimed at, the clip has reignited fierce debate about the scandal that turned his life upside down

JERMAINE JENAS delivered a stinging message to his critics as he bizarrely danced topless in front of pancakes.

Former England and Tottenham star Jenas was axed from his role on Match of the Day in August 2024 after he sent inappropriate messages to two women.

He had been a regular on the BBC show and Radio 5 Live, before his wife, Ellie Penfold, also announced they had split up after 16 years together months after the complaints emerged.

Jenas spoke said he had “lost everything” following a “tough two-year period,” in a candid interview on ITV‘s Good Morning Britain show.

He also expressed his deepest regrets over his workplace conduct but added he believed he had been “punished heavily” over his mistakes.

Earlier this month, he was seen frolicking in the sea with new girlfriend, Anne Leplaideur, with the pair having gone public on their relationship last year.

But in an unorthodox Instagram post on Saturday, Jenas hit back at his critics by posting a defiant message alongside a video of himself dancing while spinning a plate of white chocolate pancakes.

Jenas also added the caption: “I no longer care how the story gets told…

“F*** you and them… Respectfully.”

The post text added: “My post workout white chocolate pancakes on a Saturday morning are legendary have a great weekend people.”

It prompted a reply from Rio Ferdinand, who cheekily said: “Okaaaaay… these tunes don’t fit the caption ffs.”

The comment was echoed by fellow ex-England international Shaun Wright-Phillips, who posted a pair of laughing emojis.

But Jenas then clapped back at Ferdinand by saying: “You don’t even know about these tunes so relax.”

He then brutally joked: “There’s never been a better combo for for a lip balm deal.. I’m still waiting to see it.”

Meanwhile, Jermaine Pennant had a playful dig about Jenas needing “them pancakes to try and out drive me,” with the former TV star declaring it was “absolute lies” in response.
