Handmaid’s Tale fans are already ‘hooked’ on icon’s new Apple TV+ thriller
An “awesome” thriller has made its debut, bringing a best-selling novel to life.

Thriller fans have an “appallingly good” drama to get excited about and it’s really not one to miss out on.
Boasting talent from The Handmaid’s Tale, House of Cards and Scandal, expectations are sky-high for Apple TV’s latest offering Imperfect Women.
Arriving today, Wednesday, March 18, the eight-part drama centres on three lifelong companions whose lives are shattered when one of them is killed.
After Nancy’s (portrayed by Kate Mara ) shocking death, her surviving friends Eleanor ( Kerry Washington ) and Mary ( Elisabeth Moss ) start uncovering that she harboured numerous sinister secrets.
However, with suspicion falling heavily on Kate’s spouse Robert (Joel Kinnaman), they decide to conduct their own probe in an attempt to uncover what really happened.
Despite only the initial two episodes of Imperfect Women being available thus far, viewers have been unable to contain their excitement about the programme.

“Just started Imperfect Women and yep! This is gonna be good,” someone shared on X.
Another concurred: “Good first episode excited for more”, whilst a third branded Imperfect Women as “appallingly good”.
They added: “And I mean that in the BEST way possible. Tune in now.”
Meanwhile another observed: “My kind of drama & shenanigans. Just Scandalous…this show…I am hooked.”
Adapted from the 2020 bestselling novel of the same title by writer Araminta Hall, Imperfect Women features an impressive ensemble cast.

The Handmaid’s Tale and Mad Men icon Elisabeth Moss takes on the role of Mary Simpson, whilst Scandal and Little Fires Everywhere favourite Kerry Washington portrays Eleanor Bouchet.
Meanwhile, House of Cards and 24 actress Kate Mara brings victim Nancy Hennessey to life, with her on-screen husband Robert played by The Killing’s Joel Kinnaman.
Currently, only the opening two episodes of Imperfect Women have been made available, with subsequent instalments arriving each Wednesday.
Barring any scheduling changes, this means the series finale is set to land on Wednesday, April 29.
